The trust that my patients put in me to take care of their dental needs is an honor and a privilege that I do not take lightly. I enjoy the daily interactions I have with my patients and the wide variety of care that being a general dentist offers. I am committed to making our patients’ needs and concerns my top priority while creating a comfortable and relaxing environment.
I have worked very hard while waiting for my son, Dr. Mitch, to join the practice. I am thrilled with how easy the transition has been. Mitch has given me newfound energy and inspires me every day. Our team and patients have really embraced him as well. I am so fortunate to work with such amazing professionals AND my family . . . what could be better?
Education and Continuing Education
I attended the University of Minnesota, and graduated with my Bachelor of Science in 1986. I continued at the University of Minnesota Dental School and finished there in 1988. I am dedicated to continuing my education by attending many courses to stay current with the latest in dental services and technology.
I am an active member of several professional organizations, including the American Dental Association, Wisconsin Dental Association, Columbia Dodge Marquette Dental Society, and Chicago Dental Society. I regularly attend the annual meeting of the American Dental Association and the Chicago Dental Society midwinter meeting as well as monthly local dental society meetings.
The team at Seubert Family Dentistry is dedicated and loyal. Many have been here ten to 20 years or more, starting as employees of Curran & Seubert Dental Office. This has provided our patients with a very stable environment. We are committed to excellence in all our services, so we can help our patients achieve the highest level of dental and overall health in an atmosphere of trust and compassion.
Outside the Office
I am originally from Appleton and moved to Portage to practice with Dr. Mark Curran in 1988. My wife Cindy is a registered dental hygienist, and we have two sons; Travis (Mary) and Mitchell (Hannah) and 6 beautiful grandchildren.
I love spending unplugged time at Bass Lake in northern Wisconsin. We are proud owners of a family cottage next to other family members, “VanDerhei Girls’ Retreat”; it’s our slice of paradise. The rest of the time is spent with my family, playing: golf, fishing, kayaking, curling, snow skiing, and doing many other outdoor activities.
In the Community
Cindy and I give back to our community in many ways; we feel it is important to support the community that supports us! In addition to volunteering with the Wisconsin Dental Association and Donated Dental Services, we sponsor local sporting teams and events, academic scholarships for Portage boys’ and girls’ golf teams, St. Mary Church, Portage Library, and a variety of downtown businesses. We are proud to be located in downtown Portage!
