Office Visits

Your First Visit Is All About You: Your comfort, Your Happiness, and your Health

During your first visit, one of our dentists will sit down with you and ask you what brought you to our office.  They will review your dental and medical history, and take any necessary X-rays and images of your mouth and teeth.  Your first visit is our team getting to know you and gathering pertinent information to help us create your individual treatment plan and answer any questions.  First appointments with the dentist can last between 45 and 60 minutes.

The doctor will do a comprehensive examination: this includes an evaluation for oral cancer, recording of dental cavities, missing or unerupted teeth, and restorations.  They will also evaluate existing dentures or partials, occlusal relationships, periodontal/gum conditions (including periodontal screening and charting), and any hard and soft tissue anomalies.

After your comprehensive examination, you will be scheduled for another visit with one of our experienced Dental Hygienists for an appropriate cleaning.

• Completed patient information form (Download/Print)
• Completed Medical History with list of current medications you are taking (Download/Print)
• Valid insurance Card

Regular Checkups Are An Important Part of Maintaining a Healthy Smile!

The American Dental Association recommends a visit to your dentist every six months for regular checkups/examination and routine teeth cleaning to keep your teeth and gums healthy.

We understand you have a busy schedule, so when you are preparing to visit our office, please remember your appointment can last between 60- 90 minutes
