Jan L. Seubert, DDS
The trust that my patients put in me to take care of their dental needs is an honor and a privilege that I do not take lightly. I enjoy the daily interactions I have with my patients and the wide variety of care that being a general practitioner offers. It is very rewarding to make patients comfortable and put them at ease in regards to their oral care.
Since I was very young I always envisioned myself working in the healthcare field. A career in dentistry gives me a great balance between family life and crossing paths with many incredible people as patients and staff members. In the Portage area, I have seen young patients grow up and bring their own children back to the practice.
Education and Continuing Education
I attended the University of Minnesota, graduating with my Bachelor of Science degree in 1986. I continued on at the University of Minnesota for dental school, earning my Doctorate of Dental Surgery in 1988. I am dedicated to continuing education attend many courses annually to stay current with the latest in dental treatments and technology.
I am an active member of several professional organizations, including the American Dental Association, Wisconsin Dental Association, Columbia Dodge Marquette Dental Society, and the Chicago Dental Society. I regularly attend the annual meeting of the American Dental Association and the Chicago Dental Society midwinter meeting and monthly local Dental Society meetings.
Our Team
The staff we have at Curran and Seubert Dental is very dedicated and loyal. Many have been here 10-15 years or more. This provides patients with a very stable environment, and with a group of people they can trust and feel very comfortable with. We not only strive to provide exceptional dental care for our patients, but also hope that over time we can become friends as well.

Outside the Office
I am originally from Appleton and moved to Portage to practice with Dr. Mark Curran in 1988. My wife, Cindy, is a registered Dental Hygienist, and we have two sons, Travis and Mitchell. I can be found spending my free time with my family, playing golf, fishing, curling, snow boarding, and many other outdoor activities.
My wife and I have the unique situation of both being involved in the dental profession and feel that it is very important to help to provide care to some of those less fortunate than ourselves. It is through our dental skills that we can provide the greatest benefit, so we have become more active in some of the great volunteer programs that the Wisconsin Dental Association organizes.
